The North Carolina Nurses Association invites you to a special event at Queen’s University of Charlotte, featuring Dr. Debbie Hatmaker, PhD, RN, FAAN. This evening promises an insightful exploration of the value of nursing and the impactful projects developed through the collaboration between the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the North Carolina Nurses Association (NCNA).

About Dr. Debbie Hatmaker: Dr. Hatmaker is the Chief Nursing Officer of the ANA Enterprise and a nationally recognized nursing leader. She oversees the ANA’s comprehensive practice, policy, advocacy, and credentialing agenda. Her diverse career spans public health, maternal-child health, and academia, including 16 years as faculty at the Medical College of Georgia School of Nursing. She has also served as a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) and educator.
Dr. Hatmaker has held numerous leadership roles, including president of the Georgia Nurses Association and first vice president of ANA. She was appointed president of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and served two terms. In recognition of her contributions to the nursing profession, she was inducted as a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing in 2012.
