NCNA Wins 2021 Gold Circle Award from ASAE

May 4, 2021

Last year for Nurses Week, NCNA launched a campaign to support nurses with videos from prominent North Carolinians: athletes, musicians, actors, politicians, fellow nurses, and more. Today, the American Society of Association Executives announced the campaign was one of just 15 Gold Circle Award winners from across the country.

"NCNA is excited to be recognized among the best of the best in association excellence from across the country,” said NCNA CEO Tina Gordon, MPA, CAE, FACHE. “We have worked tirelessly all year to advocate for nurses and make sure they are recognized for their amazing efforts, so it’s great to see NCNA's work applauded, too!"

The 2021 Gold Circle competition drew a record-breaking 300 submissions from organizations across the country. The annual awards are designed to highlight “excellence, innovation and achievement in association/nonprofit marketing, membership and communications programs.” NCNA’s video campaign won the Digital Content award.

“We are thrilled to have received so many submissions. We had no idea what to expect for this GCA cycle, but association professionals turned challenges into opportunities and the work did not stop in 2020,” said Jill Treby, senior director of membership and marketing at the Association for Psychological Science and chair of ASAE’s Gold Circle Awards Committee.

NCNA and the other Gold Circle Award winners will be recognized during ASAE’s 2021 Marketing, Membership & Communications Conference on June 4.
