Session Description:
The session is open to any PNP who wishes to increase their knowledge of ANCC’s criteria for approved providers and will help ensure that PNPs are able to effectively lead others within their AP units. The content of the workshop is designed to familiarize new and current Primary Nurse Planners with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and NCNA’s criteria for the establishment or continuation of an Approved Provider Unit. AP units renewing in 2022 may also find this information helpful in preparing to complete the self study and other renewal documents. The following will be covered: detailed overview of the ANCC/NCNA criteria (structural capacity, education design process, & quality outcomes), AP processes, and the primary nurse planner’s roles and responsibilities in leading an Approved Provider unit
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY: There will be no refunds for this event. In the event you can no longer attend, substitutions will be honored by contacting christinpeterman@ncnurses.org.
The North Carolina Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
