NCNA District 29 members are invited to participate in celebrations for Nurses Week this year.

Nursing team recognition and celebration during National Nurses' Week will include the nationally known speaker, Nancy Coey, presenting Finding Gifts in Everyday Life.

The first presentation will be at the CaroMont Health monthly Nursing Perspectives program. CaroMont Health nurses are also the primary support for a tri-county (Gaston, Lincoln, and Cleveland) nursing celebration banquet held each year. Nancy Coey will also speak at this event held May 5 at the Cramer Mountain Country Club. Nurses from all three counties are invited to attend and educational credit will be offered for this presentation.

The Council for Nursing Excellence at CaroMont Health was created to promote nursing excellence, recognize and award outstanding nursing practice, and to support a positive work environment for nurses.
